Vaal Streams is a competitively priced venue for Team Building activities, entertainment, functions and accommodation. In addition to River Rafting, we host a range of other fun and informative team-building activities by special arrangement in conjunction with experienced and professional facilitators.

Team Building activities and events are priced on request according to specific requirements and tailored to clients objectives, including any of the following activities on site:

• River Rafting;
• Fishing competitions; (fun elements added)
• Hiking;
• Paint Ball Games;
• Archery;
• Drumming;
• Target Shooting;
• Potjiekos competitions;
• Art classes, jewelry making, beads, scrap-booking;  
• Cooking and bread making courses;
• Sushi Class;
• Variety of fun team and 'survivor' type games including relay races, tug-of-war, treasure hunting, bridge building, etc.;
• Variety of conventional games including volley ball, soccer, touch rugby, rounders/baseball, cricket, etc.;
• Variety of informative activities including astronomy & star gazing, bird watching, veld and marine life talks, etc.

Facilities include:

• Conferencing and Function  Centre  with two large meeting rooms  providing seating capacity for  up to 36  guests each with flexible seating/table configurations according to requirements.
• Marquee tents with tables and seating depending on requirements and size of group.  

Function, Entertainment and Miscellaneous Rates:

We have several separate function and entertainment facilities for private hire at daily rates, including:-

• "Metsi" Boma & Pergola, a tiled entertainment and fire pit  facility on  the river edge with double-braai which includes lighting and plug points with seating for 30-40 plus guests @ R400 per day.
• "Phanzi" Boma & Lapa, a sunken amphitheatre type entertainment facility with braai and  food preparation  counter space, gas cooker, prep bowl, which includes lighting and plug points etc. This sunken boma has seating capacity for 100 plus guests @ R400 per day.   (Note, if "River Lodge" is booked at R2,200 per night, this Lapa and sunken boma is included in the rate)
• "Phezulu" Lapa & Boma, a large thatch Lapa  entertainment facility with double braai and  food preparation  counter space, gas cooker, prep/wash-up sinks, with seating capacity for 60-80 plus visitors, which includes lighting and plug points etc. @ R400 per day.
• "Difateng" Boma & Braai, an open air entertainment  facility under trees  with double braai and  food preparation  counter space, gas cooker, prep/wash-up sinks, with seating capacity for 70 plus guests which includes lighting and plug points @ R400 per day.
• Accommodation rates as per Accommodation pages. The most ideal accommodation unit for Team Building is the Dormitory in combination with the large thatch Lapa and entertainment area which is included free of charge as part of the accommodation rates for the Dormitory;
• River Rafting rates as per River Rafting page;
• Buffet braais for lunch or dinner from R150 per guest - minimum 20 guests;
• Marquee tents with tables and seating - rates on application depending on requirements and size of group.
