Vaal Streams is a competitively priced venue for corporate get-aways, conferences, functions, weddings, and family gatherings. We also host a range of Team-Building activities by special arrangement.

Facilities include:

• Conferencing and Function Centre  with two large meeting rooms  providing seating capacity for  up to 36  guests each with flexible seating/table configurations according to requirements
• These two separate meeting rooms are fully furnished with white boards, flip charts, office equipment including laptop, overhead projector, printer/copier and  adjoining refreshments foyer.  

Function, Entertainment and Miscellaneous

We have several separate function and entertainment facilities for private hire at daily rates, including:-

• "Metsi" Boma & Pergola, a tiled entertainment and fire pit  facility on  the river edge with double-braai which includes lighting and plug points with seating for 30-40 plus guests - see Rates page.
• 'Phanzi" Boma & Lapa, a sunken amphitheatre type entertainment facility with braai and  food preparation  counter space, gas cooker, prep bowl, which includes lighting and plug points etc. This sunken boma has seating capacity for 100 plus guests - see Rates page. (Note, if "River Lodge" is booked at R2,200 per night, this Lapa and sunken boma is included in the rate)
• "Phezulu" Lapa & Boma, a large thatch Lapa  entertainment facility with double braai and  food preparation  counter space, gas cooker, prep/wash-up sinks, with seating capacity for 60-80 plus visitors, which includes lighting and plug points etc. - see Rates page.
• "Difateng" Boma & Braai, an open air entertainment  facility under trees  with double braai and  food preparation  counter space, gas cooker, prep/wash-up sinks, with seating capacity for 70 plus guests which includes lighting and plug points - see Rates page.
• Accommodation rates as per Accommodation page. The most ideal accommodation unit for Bachelor Parties, etc. is the Dormitory in combination with the large thatch Lapa and entertainment area which is included free of charge as part of the accommodation rates for the Dormitory;
• Conference rates from R150 per delegate per day excluding catering but including conference venue, facilities, juices, water, teas and coffees;
• Conference rates from R300 per delegate including above plus catering buffet lunch - minimum 20 guests;
• Conference rates from R500 per delegate including above plus catering buffet lunch and dinner - minimum 20 guests;
• Wedding rates on application depending on specific requirements and number of guests;
• Wedding marquee tents with tables and seating - rates on application depending on wedding requirements and size of wedding invitation/guest list.
• River Rafting rates as per River Rafting page;
• Buffet braais for lunch or dinner from R150 per guest - minimum 20 guests;
